Nextet Summer show at The POSTunderground

The Nate Aronow Nextet plays at the POSTunderground, Brookline’s hottest jazz hang.   The Nextet plays “Real Music for a Fake World”: original and cover jazz, latin and eclectic grooves. The Nextet will play “Set One” from 7:30-8:30pm, followed by the funtastic Fenno St. Jazz band, and (there’s more!) — the fabulous House Band.   Three bands!  Music goes to 11:15 pm.  Physical address is:  386 Washington St. Brookline.

Nate on Keys, Kenji Kikuchi : Sax and flute, Ken Ormes: guitar, Erik Neldner: Bass, Brendan Byrnes: Drums. NO cover charge, inexpensive CASH bar, and free snacks, and real nice PPL.  What’s not to like?  Downstairs at the Brookline VFW, where it’s more elegant than you’d expect, and it’s always 3am!
