DESCRIPTION:The Nextet continues it’s spring library tour at the Newton Free Library on Homer St. in Newton Centre.  Nice sounding hall\, beautiful piano\, too!  The Nextet will play a set of original contemporary jazz\, rooted in many of the jazz greats from the 60’s to the present\, like Wayne Shorter\, Freddie Hubbard and Herbie Hancock.
